What is COSMETIC TATTOOING ? (Permanent Makeup)
Cosmetic tattooing also known as micro pigmentation has been practiced from ancient times for both mystical and religious purposes . I t comes from ancient Egypt and some middle Easton countries.
What are PIGMENTS ?
The pigment used is oxide and non toxic. A powder is suspended in a solution of distilled water, alcohol, and glycerine, which results in a creamy liquid . The pigments formulated are especially created for the use of cosmetic tattooing on the face.
The cosmetic tattooing PROCEDURE
A tropical anaesthetic gel is applied for all procedures. The pigment is applied with a needle penetrating one to two millimetres deep into the dermis. The procedure is simple safe and most of all effective with impressive results . The most common procedures are eye liner , lip liner , and eyebrows.
What it looks like straight COSMETIC TATTOOING
The colour immediately after a treatment will look a lot darker stronger and brighter then desired. This is expected the colour will fade a good 20% to 40% in the heeling process 4 to 14 days

RECOVERY TIME
The healing time after cosmetic tattooing is minimal for all treatments 4 to 14 days . There will be some slight swelling and redness in the skin which will subside very quick . You may resume work and normal activities immediately.
FOR ALL PROCEDURES
- Before showering apply a light coating of Vaseline to the procedure area for at least 2 weeks.
- Make-
up can be applied after 5 days - No sun, soap, sauna, chlorinated pools or salt water for 2 weeks
- If crusting appears on procedure area, do not pick or peel.
- Don't touch pigmented area with fingertips -
use cotton tips only (ear buds) - Keep area moist by applying supplied healing cream Bepanthen. If you run out, it can be purchased at chemists.
- If swelling occurs apply ice 10 minutes on 10 minutes off, for 30 minutes.
- No AHA or retin A products to be used for one month after procedure.
EYEBROWS
- Apply healing cream 4 times a day and do not pick or peel
- Clear fluid may appear after the tattooing for up to 24hours (this is normal)
- You will need to wipe firmly otherwise a crusting or scab will appear, then apply Bepanthen.
LIPS
- After procedure, lips will tend to feel chapped and very dry. Apply healing cream as often as required for the next 24hours. Then every hour for up to 2 weeks with cotton tips only.
- Do not bleach you teeth for 4 weeks after the procedure.
- No lip fillers for one month after lip treatment is completed
- If you are prone to cold sore apply Zovirax before applying your healing cream as a preventative.
- Do not lick your lips or wipe with a napkin
- No kissing for at least 3 days
- Moist lipstick can be worn after 4 days
- Full lip colour can take up to 4 weeks for the colour to settle. Do not judge the colour before then
- Take Nurofen tablets morning and night to reduce swelling when having a full lip procedure
- Colour may fade up to 50% after application. Lips may need a second colour application.
All procedures include one free adjustment touch-
EYELINER
- No mascara for 7 days. When you resume using mascara use a new tube.
- Use eye drops if needed for the first few days
- No eyelash tinting, curling or perming for 2 weeks after procedure.
- Apply healing cream 3 times a day
For best results we recommended you follow our aftercare procedure and helpful hints
for best and longer lasting results. Colours will appear much darker and the shape
will be more defined. The procedure will become much softer and lighter in3 to 10
days. To actually determine the colour, it is best to wait at least 3-
- Brows and eyes will lighten by 30%
- Lip liner will lighten by 40%
- Full lip will lighten by 50%
